FAQ
Does the watermark damage my file?
No. The tool builds a new canvas in memory, composites the image and text, and exports that. Your local file is untouched.
What font size should I use?
Size is per mille of image width: 48 means roughly 4.8% of the width. A 1000px wide image gets 48px text, so proportions stay consistent across sizes.
Why is there an outline?
White text on a bright background or black text on a dark one becomes invisible. A semi-transparent dark outline keeps it legible anywhere.
Can I add an image or tiled watermark?
This version supports a single line of text. For logos or tiling use an image editor, or place the text watermark in a corner as a copyright mark.
