How to Use

  1. Load an image

Upload with 'Choose an image', or paste an image URL or data URL. The original dimensions fill in automatically.

  2. Set the target size

Edit width or height; with 'keep aspect ratio' the other side follows. 'Half size' shrinks both at once.

  3. Pick format and quality

Choose PNG/JPEG/WebP and a quality level, check the byte change, then hit 'Download image'.

FAQ

Will resizing blur the image?

Shrinking stays sharp because the browser resamples with high quality. Enlarging looks soft due to missing pixels — raise quality or start from a vector source instead.

What does 'keep aspect ratio' do?

With it ticked you only edit the width and the height follows the original ratio, so nothing gets stretched. Untick it for a custom ratio.

Which output format should I pick?

PNG for transparency, JPEG or WebP for small photo files. WebP is usually 20–30% smaller than JPEG and supported by all modern browsers.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Reading, resizing and encoding all happen in your browser via canvas; the server only serves the page.
