How to Use
- Set the target
Enter an event name such as Birthday or Exam, then choose the target date and time.
- Use a preset
Instead of typing a date, click New Year, Labour Day or another preset to fill in the next occurrence.
- Watch it tick
The panel shows the days remaining, broken into hours, minutes and seconds and refreshed every second. Past targets show how long ago they were.
FAQ
Does the countdown keep running?
Yes, it refreshes every second while the page is open. When you close the page it stops, and reopening recalculates from the current time so no error accumulates.
Can I count down to a past date?
Yes. If the target has already passed, the tool switches to showing how many days ago it was, which is handy for anniversaries.
How do the preset buttons work?
Clicking New Year, Labour Day and so on fills in the next occurrence of that date along with its name. You can still adjust the exact time afterwards.
What about leap years and time zones?
The countdown uses your device's local time. Leap years are handled by the system date, so crossing years or months is accurate.
