Cron Expression Parser
Free online cron parser: turn 'minute hour day month weekday' into plain English and list the next 5 run times. Supports */n steps, ranges and lists.
How to Use
- Enter the expression
Fill in the five fields in minute-hour-day-month-weekday order, or start from one of the common examples.
- Read the description and run times
The tool prints a plain-English description and lists the next 5 run times in your local timezone.
- Check field ranges
If a field is out of range, the message names the field and its allowed range; the parse refreshes as soon as you fix it.
FAQ
How many fields are supported?
The standard five: minute (0-59), hour (0-23), day (1-31), month (1-12), weekday (0-6, 0 = Sunday). For 6- or 7-field dialects (with seconds or year), drop the extra fields first.
What if both day and weekday are set?
Following standard Vixie cron semantics, when both fields are non-wildcard they are OR-ed: the job runs if either the day of month or the weekday matches.
Why are the run times not what I expect?
Run times use your browser's local timezone. If the server runs in another timezone, trust the server timezone instead.
Does 0 0 1 1 * work?
Yes — it means 00:00 on January 1 every year. The tool describes it and lists the next 5 occurrences.
