FAQ
Which scheme suits which situation?
Complementary is high-contrast and good for CTAs; analogous is harmonious and good for backgrounds; triadic is vivid yet balanced for charts; split complementary is gentler; tetradic suits complex multi-colour UI; monochrome is the safest for brand work.
Why do the colours differ slightly from what I imagined?
The tool nudges lightness and saturation around the wheel angles so the set has clear hierarchy. Treat the output as a starting point and fine-tune in the picker.
Does a palette guarantee accessible contrast?
No. A palette solves 'looks good'; contrast needs its own check — run the generated colours through a contrast checker.
Can I use these palettes commercially?
Yes. Colours themselves are not copyrightable, so the generated HEX values are free for commercial projects.
